Definitions
- Service: mobile application features for gifticon scan, management, and sharing.
- Member: a user who signs up and uses the service.
- Group: a unit where members share gifticons.
Service features
- Automatic gifticon scan and data extraction from photo library images.
- Gifticon usage management including full use, partial use, and balance handling.
- Group creation and gifticon sharing between members.
- Expiration reminders and usage statistics.
Membership
- Users can register with email or Google sign-in.
- Users under age 14 are not permitted to use the service.
- Service access may be restricted for accounts created with stolen or false information.
User obligations
- Do not use gifticons without authorization.
- Do not use the service for unlawful or abusive purposes.
- Keep account credentials secure.
Service availability and changes
- Service may be temporarily suspended due to maintenance, incidents, or operational reasons.
- For a free service, features may be changed or terminated as needed.
Disclaimer
- gimoticon does not guarantee gifticon validity or redemption availability.
- Automatic reading results are best-effort and may contain recognition errors.
- gimoticon is not responsible for disputes arising between users regarding shared gifticons.
Account withdrawal
- Members can withdraw from the app at any time.
- After withdrawal, data is handled according to the privacy policy.
Dispute resolution
- Disputes related to service use are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea and applicable court jurisdiction rules.
Amendments
- When terms are updated, notice is provided in-app or by email in advance; continued use after the effective date is considered acceptance.
